Simple-Earth : The Farm Page
Farm Operations Update: We're currently in transition as we relocate and establish our new home & animal infastructure (on the same farm). While livestock care and core operations continue, we've temporarily paused public programs and product offerings. Goats are still available. Expected resumption: Spring 2025. Thank you for your patience as we build something even better.
Our small-scale, personal approach to farming transcends mere production—it's a practice in resilience. This page showcases what we cultivate, offer, and steward as part of our commitment to survival farming that prioritizes health, safety, and sustainable livelihoods.
Current Focus: Relocation & Infrastructure
During this transition period, we're:
- Establishing new pastures and livestock facilities
- Implementing improved rotational grazing systems
- Upgrading our data collection and documentation processes
- Planning expanded educational content based on lessons learned
- Improving our personal home, water systems and technology
Our Livestock Program
Our careful livestock program features purebred Nigerian Dwarf Goats, hardy Indigenous Veldgoats, and occasionally other complementary animals that enhance our ecosystem's balance. Each species plays a specific role in our integrated farming model to ensure survival.
Knowledge Sharing Continues
We're equally invested in data and knowledge sharing. We meticulously document our methods, tracking what works and what doesn't. This information becomes another valuable harvest—one we gladly share with our community through ongoing articles and research updates.
Stay connected with us during this transition—the best is yet to come.
